Quotation Two

"If one doesn't respect oneself one can have neither love nor respect for others". –Ayn Rand


   Ayn Rand was a Russian-American novelist, philosopher, play-write, and screenwriter. She was born and educated in Russia, but moved to America in 1926. Ayn Rand  moved to Hollywood and had a play produced on Broadway, she died march 6 1982 (aged 77). This quotation is significant because it is describing the importance of self respect and it is something one must have before they can respect another individual. This quote connects to my concept because it explains the other side of respect, that side being self respect. There are many incidents where you find someone or something lacking self respect...
