Point Of View

In my novel  Night by Elie Wiesel the point of view in which the story is being told through is first person limited omniscient. I believe this point of view was chosen because the story is being told through the author who was a survivor of the holocaust during World War II. I think that the point of view contributes to the narrative because reading it through someones perspective who experienced the horrors of the holocaust is much more intense and emotional then reading it from an author who studied it. If i was givin the choice I would not change the point of view because when reading the book through the perspective of one who experienced  the holocaust it makes it that much more interesting and educational to the reader, and you get a better understanding of what really happened
